Getting the gogs the only way we can here. Shelling out $60 a dozen... I know we have some slob kings around right now but I havn't been targeting them. Seems that a few have been on the edge here the last couple days. I have a couple spots in like 70 that I really punch some pigs out of, just no customers fired up for that... They all have been wanting to get a final swing at sails or early shot at marlin. I did well with 4-6 marlin late Jan and early Feb strangely enough but havn't seen one in like three weeks or more now.
I here ya on the $60,How far up from WPB are you fishing Id like to per fish before the tournament.Ill be in Stuart on the 29th will be trying to find them big king ya talking about.Im thinking its about 60mil to WPB from FT pierice??
4-6 miles north of Palm Beach inlet has some slob kings move in there. I seem to find my biggest on the south end of the pack of boats. Theres a line of condos from the inlet to the north. Where they end and a stretch of beach begins is real good. 70-100" for the monsters. More good kingfishing up toward Jupiter but not the real slobs . I want to say we are about 40 something from Ft. Pierce. Our inlet is like 26'45" north lat... If I had to pick how I'd work em for a tourney I'd say one of two ways.
First would be to fill a big well with a zillion pilchards and live chum with them. Drawbacks would be bonitos and small kings tearing you a new ass. The other way would be Blue runners or gogs.
Thats what im talking about local info you cant beat it. thanks alot ill be in touch with you deep.If your not fishing when I get down there WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOME BIG KINGS.thanks again
They move around some day to day but if I start getting some the pigs in the 40+ category I'll hit the mob and send you the numbers... The last two years mid march produced some fish for me in the 60 class. Now thats hummer size slimies!

Popped out the live baits in a crowded gorgeous ocean this morn. Cudas got us off the bat and I slid deeper where we had a double of sails manage to both jump off. A couple small kings and a dolphin were next and then missed another sail. Damn rubber hooks!
