    Ok... Early show of hands????

I know its several months til we again assault the Bahamas. It would appear that Chub Cay will again be operational next year so we can get back to catching obscene amounts of fish. Things are still unsettled as to our approach this year. Trying to negotiate to rent a house for us. Not sure where that will wind up finacially so exploring other options like renting the entire top floor of the Berry Island Club at the other end of the island. There has been some discussion about maybe bringing Intruder down and doing a live aboard deal. Even considering a mother ship type operation. Dates, prices and details will be posted as we get more dialed in.

Bimini was some fun but, fishing was too inconsistent to call a hard core fishing trip. So we are focusing back on Chub. We average 100-130 billfish a month along with way numerous wahoo early in our stay and mahi toward the end of our stay. Mid day lulls we fill with grouper and deep drops for yelloweye snapper.
The trips we run are usually five day shots. Day one fly in at noon and fish til dusk. Days 2,3,4 fish all day until we can't stand it any mmore. Day five we stick close to home and fish til time to catch the plane back out. I try to package accomodations, fishing, local flights and even most meals into it. In the past it has run roughly $1500 per person. With fuel and accomodations going up, it may be a bit more this year but shouldn't be by too much.

What I'm looking for is some Idea of how many SF.com guys and gals we might be expecting. We have a load of the last few last years people wanting to come back. Some provisionally booked no matter how we do the trip. They just can't wait to get back to chub. If you have so much as an inkling of interest post it here so as I get details I can keep you guys up to date. Thanks!

This will give me some clue as to how many legs we may have to add on this year. There are no strings attached. You don't have to sign up or commit any time soon... Just trying to see what interest we have here... These trips usually run in April but may stretch into May...

Got a couple IMs with good questions.... We run with a four guest max if we run my boat... Non fishing wives, etc. are welcome to come stay at the island. There is a nice beach and I think an improved restaurant and store are planned... And yes I would love to hear any ideas on how we can make these trips even better or input as to live aboard-house- or mothership deals as to what you may or may not like more...

Yes single chicks are welcome. We would try to pair you with another so you don't feel uncomfortable.
Well behaved kids are welcome and encouraged. Mind you though there is no TV, video, computer or stuff like that. Its fish, eat and sleep...
