Don't get me wrong, I don't condone murder, or the unnecessary killing of anther human being, but gosh almighty, its about time something was done... Back in the day, when everyone kept a loaded shotgun hanging over the fireplace, you didn't see near as many break-ins, robberies, homicides, etc...

Even though she was defending her property, she will most likely, in one way or another end up in the courts; sued by the crazy mans family or something.. And no matter what the outcome, it will be a losing proposition for the lady defending not only her house, but also her life; even if she "wins" the case.

It is a sad time for our justice system...

It was Oklahoma. I think they are pretty much protect yourself kinda people in that state as well as Texas. We can only hope she doesn't get caugth up in a long court case for protecting her right to life. The 911 operator was excellent, multiple times telling her you have to protect yourself. I have to agree if more of these scumbags ended up like this the number of home invasions might decrease.
