Looks like the weather might break this weekend
We are going to hit it hard and fill the box with yellowfin out of Oregon Inlet
Is anyone looking for the bloodbath?????

Good luck

Damn that sounds tempting with the forecast...I need to get the ducks out of my system or the end of the season one before I can get back to focusing on the fish.
Good luck and I look forward to the pictures and report
We'll be doing a tuna/rockfish combo trip if the tuna reports are good today and tomorrow. Otherwise just rockfishing...post up some reports friday so I can decideAlready rigged up for both.
It was a small blood bath but better than none.
Friday we headed south of the Point thanks to roffers and ended up going three for four. I was really pumped it was the first YF tuna on the One More.
Saturday went to the same place and ended up one for one on the YF
We did hook a mako and tried to get him in the boat but without a gun or bat he bent the gaff and was gone. Would have liked to try it on the grill.
I am glad we hooked him or he might have gotten a bite out of our only tuna for the day.
We heard on the radio a blue marlin was caught out past the 1000 fathom curve in 80 degree water
I know there were some limites of rocks caught but on the wrong side of the line. Thursday they caught a 60lb. one
The water temp was 35 on the beach to cold for the rocks
Good luck to everyone...... I cant wait to get back out there

We ended up with one YFT and two false Albacore. It was beautiful weather but you are right the current was ripping everywhere we went. We had two cutoffs. Pretty sure they were Mako's. Still nice to be out on the water...Mark
