AS THEY WERE BRINGING IN WHITE AFTER WHITE, DOLPHIN AFTER DOLPHIN, TUNA AFTER TUNA AND EVEN A GRANDER. WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR FISHING SKILLS?? DID YOU LVE THEM IN NC? MAYBE YOU AREN'T WHAT YOUR CRONNIES MAKE YOU OUT TO BE BOX O' LEMONS.

Now I don't know what the purpose of this thread is but unless you were there its hard to understand just how it is there... First you have 250 boats bangin heads and all want that top spot... Thats competition... Then there are outside factors influencing decisions that often are inaccurate...
For example the weather forecast was changed every six hours for the week and not once did the weather service get it right. Even the sattelites taking pictures of temps and water clarities were off.
This year I saw something kinda funky... Water seemed to disappear. Find a good piece and good bite then it would go away. Turn around and try to find it again and the blue went green and the rods stopped bending.
Next not everyone had boats capable of running "the fence" where the fish were... 100 miles... Our boat was crippled with no tabs and a sick engine. At 17knots we just weren't going there. Even at 25 knots its a four hour hump.
The list of variables is endless. Some scored some didn't...

Box gives it his all out there... If they didn't hit a home run it wasn't for lack of skill or lack of trying...

Paul, for as long as the wmo has been going on as a superier tourny, i have yet to see certain sfc "pros" rank in any standings. I know there are many variables and luck has much to do with it, but come on. The hype of some need to be backed up by a big time tourny win. turn in a good tuna for gods sake or at least a big dolphin. that's offshore 101 ain't it....

My OPINION

Boats win billfish tournys, crews only close the deal.

The Shelly II dock 2 over from me, whites flock to that boat like flies on shit for a fact.
