    Wrightsville Beach Question

I'm going to be in the area the weekend of March 12. Are there any fish that are not on some endangered species list so that I may make a sandwich?

Seriously though, what would you target offshore, top or bottom....

    Thanks

Good fishing at the break. Wahoos and blackfins on top. Jacks, cobia triggers on the bottom. May be some African Pompanos.
If you don't want to run to the break, I am afraid you can only target pinkies and grunts inshore. May be some flounders near the wrecks. All other bottom fish are closed.

    Good luck,

Thanks guys. I am running in a triathlon Saturday so Sunday is my only option. So I guess if the weather is permitting and I can actually walk, I will go.

And thanks for the offer bigfishhooker. But I will have a few guests in town so I will probably just go on my boat. But I may take you up on that offer some other time.

Let's hope for some cooperative seas....
