Well, the first trip to the stream for "The Great White" fishing team was not the epic day we had hoped it would be but it was a good day. We had 12 strikes and put 2 Tuna and 1 Wahoo in the box. Not a good ratio, but the tuna seemed to be really hard to hook for whatever reason. We fished just north of the Steeples all day in 72 degree water. Alex Mercer (unoyankeefan), Ed Bartlett and I had a blast just being out there on the water. We all had cabin fever and really needed to kill something. Thanks again Dr. Bartlett for the ride. We really enjoyed it!
Pretty work Great White team! Tuesday was beautiful, but slow for most boats. You guys did better than most.
Way to to keep the cabin fever in check!

Yea it was a lot of fun. For anyone going out after the tunners, pay attention to your rods. They just wasn't shallowing the bait whole like normal but rather came up and mouthed the bait. Once we realized it and started panning the line out to 'um once we saw the rod tips bend, that's when we got the hook ups.
