We caught the Reds in 140ft on a live bottom we found late last summer and the Mahis were at a spot we frequent AJ jigging in 180ft.We pulled up to start jigging and there was a great little break with some weed in it so i decided to put out a lite line and it made it about 30ft and the mahi swirled on it,let her eat for a few seconds then put the lever to her. When she got close we could see she had a friend with her so Carlton tossed out some squid on a assist hook and ended up catching the bull which went 22lbs.A beautiful day on the water, hope its a sign of things to come.

Great report, catch and pictures! Way to introduce yourself to the site water heater!
Fine limit of groupers and the two big gaffers a nice bonus!
Did all the groupers come on jigs?
Thanks for the report and keep 'em coming!
