    Wrightsviie Beach Cobia Mission------Success....5/31

    Headed out yesterday with friends Bryan and Joe on Bryan's 23' Sea Hunt on a cobia mission. Small swell in the morning but by noon it started to blow up. Finally found our target after lunch---a small 25 pounder caught around the Schoolhouse. They're starting to show in better numbers so this shouldn't be the last we see of the "cobison".

    cobia is, well.....cobia. not really like anything else. its very rich and firm. holds together nicely on the grill. great for chunking and putting on a skewer on the grill with the vegetables.
