    Worknot finds the elusive Gag

Worknot and crew set out to prove yesterday the elusive Gag's are still here. Since the H&L grouper bite has slowed down here in the "Dog Days" of August, a spearfishing trip was in order to "see" whats going on. The gang headed south yesterday and almost pulled in their limit of Gags and added a few Hog's into the mix along with a sheepie! (Wonder why someone has used farm animal names for fish-"Hog"fish, "Sheeps"head? )
Anyway other than tearing up their guns, missed shots and a .223 power-headed AJ, looks like they had a good day Congrats to ya Worknot. Now get back to work!

Thanks for posting the report Keith! Sorry you couldn't go yesterday because we sure could have used the extra gun! Realy! we broke every gun on the boat some how or another and canalbalized 1 to make the other 2 work. And when 1 of those broke, Alan broke out the big gun! This was the first time I have been around 1 of those things (bang stick) when it has gone off. It was like a WWll movie with a sub get peppered with a depth charge! Anyway, thanks again for the post.

Nice report and pics Bottom Dweller. Those boys shot some very nice vittles. I can only imagine what would have been on the dock if you would have gone with them.
