CHILLIN ....LOAFING.....GOOFING OFF IS NICE EVERY NOW AND THEN.......IT WAS GREAT TO MEET SOME SFC MEMBERS AS WELL....DROPBACK...THE ADMIN...JOHNSEAFOOD........."ABSOLUTLY" AND HIS DAD CAME BY THE BOAT....TROJAN JOE STOPPED BY WITH HIS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS BRIDE.....COWBOY CAME BY WITYH HIS CREW OF LADIES AND HIS LIL COCKPIT MAN........HIS BRIDE WILL ALSO T-T-T-TAKE YA BREATH AWAY.....REEL FOOL WAS THERE ON DA NATURAL...HE WEIGHED A 68 POUNDER THAT SUCCUMBED TO LARGER WHITES............IT WAS AWESOME TO MET MISTER DEEP C........ARK WAS ON THE DOCKS EACH DAY SHARES REPORTS WITH ME.....I SEEN SHARK AT SEACRETS ON THE LAST NIGHT..........YEP A LITTLE R&R DOES A SOUL GOOD

THE CREW OF THE SEA SPLENDOUR CONSISTED OF "WHITEY" AND HIS DAD....OUR OWN DOUBLE D AND HIS BUD FRED.....AND ONE OF OUR KEYBOARD SILENT MEMBERS 'BLUE DOGS"............DOUBLE D TOOK ON EVERY CRAP JOB I DEALT OUT ....A TOTAL TEAM PLAYER HE IS.....HE ALSO GOT HIM A WHITE RELEASE ALONNG WITH BEING THE WIREMAN ON ANOTHER WHITE

WHITEY.......NOW THIS WHITEY IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET ON THE EAST COAST......ANIMAL IS NOT THE WORD I WANT HERE.....HE IS THE PACKAGE I TELL YA...RIGGING, MAINTENENCE, DROP BACK...WORKING THE PIT...HE GETS IT DONE!

I WANT TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON ONE FINE PERFORMANCE THIS WEEK......HE PLACED SECOND IN THE ENTIRE FIELD OF A COUPLE THOUSAND ANGLERS!!!! AND THE BOAT ITSELF TOOK 9TH PLACE HONORS OVERALL IN POINTS...........6 WHITES AND A BLUE.....ONE CAN ALWAYS LOOK BACK AT WHAT COULD OF BEEN......THE WHITES WE LOST AT THE STERN....THE ONES THAT SPIT DA HOOK DOING A SKY-DUNK......YEP....WE WERE TIED FOR THIRD PLACE RELEASE MONEY BUT GAVE WAY TO THE CHECK BECAUSE OF "TIME" OF RELEASE....O WELL........IT WAS STILL SWEET.....AND WE WILL BE DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN IN A WEEK IN THE MID-ATLANTIC 500

IT'S NOT EVERYDAY THAT A FREELANCE MATE DOES A GIG ON A STRANGE BOAT AND WINDS UP WITH A CAPTAIN LIKE THE YOUNGSTER RON (ANDY'S DAD).......YEP ...I AM A COUPLE WEEKS OLDER THAN ANDYS DAD

I FINALLY MET SUCH A CAPTAIN ON DA ROAD CAPTAIN .... AN OFFSHORE CAPTAIN WHO IS ALL SMILES 24/7 ....ATTITUDE ALWAYS HIGH....STUDYING THE CHARTS...DOING HIS HOMEWORK TO PUT YA IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME! PERSISTENCE IS HIS GAME ...CAPTAIN RON IS HIS NAME

My old beach crib used to look down on seacrets. I can remember when they were putting up the first palm trees. We had 10" of snow in one storm the winter before and I remember looking down and thinking what are those
FOOLS doing, those palm trees will never live here. They are just throwing away their money.

.....Little did I know exactly how much time I would monay and time I would spend under them in the years to follow.

Marty, Thanks for the kind words . Although I won the anglers prize I could not a have done it with out the effort of the whole team. We started the week of a little shakey going 2 for 7 on the first day but by the end of the tournament we were like a well oiled machine.

Doug your welcome with us anytime. If you cant jump onboard for a day in the Mid Atlantic we will have to do an overnighter in September for a yellowfin slaughter.

Everyone better stay tuned for the videos because we got some real doozies.

Hard to believe it is 4 years already

By my count, I have done 12 trolling trips on the SS since this excursion, with at least one billfish and as many as 8 on each trip. 2 blues and lost count of the whites. Its not easy to bat a thousand in this game.

You would think these guys would be throwing bags of cash at their good luck charm for the WMO and MA this year
