Almost every year I'm over booked for it. Fishing laydays on back up boats etc. Even my main ride this year wanted to get into some renegotiation... He brought up going 0 for 12 or so last year... I take the blame for not prepping the team better but my main job there is to find em and get em raised. I can't help it if the guys didn't keep em stuck... After some talking we settled back where we began.
My back up team isn't fishing it this year. I have a couple other irons in the fire so if I hear anything break loose I'll put em on you... Nobody better to do it...
As for MA500, this year I'm still not booked firmly. A couple things on the table maybe but nothing set in stone. You keep an eye there for me and I'll dig for the WMO for ya...

Listen up SFC! These tournies represent life changing purses. They cost a fortune to play in. It does not make sense clamming up on a few pennies and not giving it 100%. Marty is among the best there is and you'ld be nuts not to take the extra step to include him in the game plan to win...

The docks are slow up here this spring. Even with all of the good fishing, the charters are slow coming, and the locals are beating the docks looking for work. I will keep my ears open for ya. The slip next to me is transient, as is the one 2 slips over. Don't know who will be popping in and out.

On the side, I don't know if you know about it, as I did not until this weeks News Rags came out. 3 new added entry levels (well, 2 new, 1 modified). $1500 winner take all Blue Marlin. $1000 release category, no observer. $1000 Tuna level. And apparently there will be 3 places paid instead of 2 in some of the added entries (papers did not say which ones). I do believe Mr. Motsko sees the grafitti on the NMFS bathroom wall, and is planning for the closure of whitey. I like the changes, especially if it means the 3rd place blue is worth more than 1500, and the non tuna meatfish will be more than a waste of time and effort.
