Thumbs up Wish A Fish + Jr. Angler Awards

Ok Robert (playnhooky) Capt., his better half Denise, Dennis (hookinfinger), and yours truly Stroker Ace. I promised Al B. (honeyhole) that I would participate but 6 weeks ago I had a stroke. But I was still determined to make this event. Glad I could make it. I am still recovering my left arm about 30% but getting better. We had a great family aboard. Mathew (son) his sister our Jr Angler Award winners Yvette (Mom), Bert (Dad) and one of our troops god bless you sir. I am so sorry I forgot their daughters name I feel really bad about that. Brain still a little scrambled. Our Capt. got us lost out the gate it was the first time any of us got held up by a train on the water. Well after that we arrived late and luck would have it so was the family. We made our way to the armada and started catching spot, croaker, trout, flounder, puffer fish, sea robin, and piggies. I can't begin to tell you if you get a chance to be involved with this great foundation please do so. You won't regret it. Great to see everyone there and a special thanks to the crew and the family what a joy it was to have them on the Team Jackass. I guess you could say they are Jackasses for life now Al please Bmail me their info because I promised to take them fishing again.
They enjoyed every minute of it and so did we! Here are the pix. ENJOY

PS I was hankering for a cobia fillet and we almost had one. We kept a few small spot treats in the livewell and Rob brought 3 eels. We went bouy hopping and saw 2 but no love. DARN!

Very Nice Bill! W-A-F is a great event; It's incredible to see the smiles on the faces of the kids and their families when they get out on the water and catch some fish!

I participate with W-A-F here in MD at Sandy Point State Park...It always so much fun and very rewarding.

It's good to see you recover from the stroke and you were able to participate!!!

    "Thanks" from Bella AND me

Billy, damn bud, how do I say this...

If ANYONE asks if Billy "Has the nads", I'll be the first to yell "HELL YEAH". There's a whole lot of folks who'd have said, "Sorry man, I've been through a lot and can't make it". Not Billy, NFW. He gathered his crew and showed up as he said he would before his stroke. I can't tell you how happy I was to see you there... you see, a couple volunteer captains were no-shows, and we had one family left on the dock... but not for long, as Billy and his crew saved the day.

The Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament has a Jr. Anlger Award program. A kid has to catch SIX different species to qualify. For some kids it takes a few trips... but, not for Billy's guests. Even with the challenges these kids face, they caught their 6 species in a 1/2 day fishing on "Team Jackass".
I'll be sending off the forms later today.

Got a helluva nice note from Bella's Mom last night... I'll post some of it later.

Again, Billy and Crew... THANKS, you guys are a class act. I'm honored to be associated with a group of fishermen who do more than fish!
