Winter Bluefin Association has scheduled its annual meeting for Saturday, Jan 21, 2006 at 6pm. Dinner will be served at 6pm and meeting scheduled for 7pm at the Civic Center in Morehead City. The WBA is a vital organization for the bluefin industry in NC we hope you will support WBA

IF YOU DO BLUEFINNING AT ALL...YOU SHOULD ATTEND THIS MEETING....DISTANCE SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!

SUPPORT THE FISHERY THAT YOU ALL CRAVE SO MUCH!!!

YOU MAY BE SORRY THIS SUMMER/FALL YOU WERE NOT THERE

As box mentioned if u recreational bluefin or commercial and you are not at this meeting. Then next summer and fall you should not be complaining when the mighty sword is falling and NMFS or ICCAT are handing down their rulings. WBA play a big role in that and so does the other tuna association. Everyone should thank Pete Manuel, Charley Pereira and Rich Ruis (of East Coast Tuna). that is right Rich has been a vital part in helping the winter fishery. I get to see every letter that is sent out, I post them on the web site and then a few days later I see the ruling of the request. When they have asked to open all the RFD days this year NMFS has helped. Try calling your self and sending a letter. I promise you it will not meet with the same results. Remember POWER IN NUMBERS!!!!! See ya there on Sat night and if you are not a member you can join at the door. Thanks Scott
