Who wants to catch tarpon in Cuba?

One of my good buddies from PR has done trips to Cuba for years. I was wondering how many of you guys would be interested in 7 days 400 miles east of Havana at the Gardens of the Suns with 4 days of fishing, 2 wading for tarpon, permit, and bonefish and 2 on a flats boat for the same with a bit of jigging or whatever else thrown in. Everything but drinks and a flight in to the DR is furnished for 2750 and 550 of that is the plane ticket from santa Domingo to Havana. I'm thinking about doing it and wondered who else may be interested.

It is but it is possible to fly to a central american country then to cuba. You might have to pay 50 bucks so they won't stamp your passport.

I have seen pictures of Cuba from friends who have gone there.. I would love to go, the scenery is beautiful.

and his family from PR sent him to a private school in North Carolina if I remember right. He's a good guy who is a guide in the lagoon in San Juan. Excellent fly-caster. He says we won't see another boat or angler and the place is beautiful. He does it at least twice a year. I have spoken to people I fished who have gone with him and they can't say enough about it. I'm really thinking of doing it and anyone is welcome...well almost anyone...lol
