Whats shakin on the Run Off these days?

I was wondering the same. I read over on the Sensation's site that the Run-off caught quite a few gaffers and a blue. Not sure if this was yesterday or not though. Regardless, congrats to Capt. Brian and Box!

CURRENTLY, I'M IN MY JACUZZI BATH DUDE...MASSAGING MY SORE MUSCLES FROM YESTERDAY'S ASS WHIPPIN....28-30 KNOTS OF NE ASS WHIPPIN'

LATELY, MY MIND HAS BEEN FRIED SLAP UP FROM DEALING WITH PREMATURE REPORTS THAT EMTAE WAS OVERDUE ON THE RENEGADE THE OTHER DAY ...TO THE PHONE CALLS I HAVE JUST RECEIVED TODAY ABOUT YET ANOTHER BOAT WHICH CAPSIZED TODAY 40 MILES OUT....FIRST REPORTS SAID IT WAS THE MONICA M BOAT (BAYWOLF FISHED ON THIS RIG IN CAPE COD)...THEN 20 MINUTES LATER COAST GUARD TELLS ME THAT THE MONICA M RIG WAS OKAY & THAT THEY WERE THE REPORTING BOAT .....


IN OTHER WORDS...I HAVE SEVERAL CONFLICTING REPORTS AND HAVE NO IDEA WHATS HAPPENING WITH TODAY'S CAPSIZING


OTHER THAN THIS SAD NEWS.....THE RUN-OFF HAD 10 VERY NICE GAFFERS YESTERDAY IN 28 KNOT WINDS WITH "FLATLINER" ON BOARD PLUS OUR FIRST RELEASED BLUE MARLIN FOR 2010.....WE HAD SEVERAL MAHI BITES THAT DID NOT COME TIGHT ANDI BROKE A LEADER ON A 40 LBER AT THE STERN....AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN OVER THAT ONE YET EITHER. CRAP I NEVER COMPLETELY GET OVER LOSING ANY FISH AT THE STERN!!!...


OTHER THAN THE ABOVE NEWS ....THE PONEYTAIL HAS LEFT TO HIKE/BACKPACK THE GRAND CANYON FOR 3 WEEKS WITH HER BROTHER ....35 POUND BACKBACK....SHE HAS BEEN TRAINING FOR 12 MONTHS...SERIOUS TRAINING.....AND I AM STILL HERE THANK YOU VERY MUCH PREPARING FOR OUR THURSDAY-FRIDAY OFFSHORE GIGS ON THE RUN-OFF AND THEN THIS SATURDAY DOING THE SPANISH MACK- COBIA THING ON THE WILD GOOSE

I know that feeling...one of the bigger bulls I've ever hooked was broken off right at the boat. Needless to say I had some colorful language after this happened!
