Where it all started......
Wanted to share some old pictures from fishing and surfing. The first one is where it all started for me on the pier after a daily surf session. I would go up on the pier or out on the beach and check on my big brother SHUNT and see how his fishing was going. Usually he was pier fishing for big spanish, sharks, ajs, kings or albacore. From the surf, the blues were his game with the old "heaver" he made.
Then came the years of fishing with DAMIFINO. Please no comments on the calcutta ballyhoo up in the fish box with the king mack. Also note the absence of ice. Even managed some yellowfin fishing with him and a buddy of ours.
After those days came the aluminum skiff years fishing with my brother SHUNT and JMS-ILM. Note the chewed off spanish in that one pick.
Even managed to catch some old drum out of the skiff before I upgraded to the Shortbus.
Everything came together for me for me in the wahoo picture. I ain't never looked back since.
The pic of the yellowfin going in the box was stuck by then mate Jamie Riebel on one of SHUNT's adventures on the PHI DEAUX with Capt "VP."
The surfing stared at age 11 for me and still keeps me on my toes when I get to go these days.

Hunt- that sure does bring back some awesome memories, to say the least. Thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sometime wonder how we graduated from school - No wind, call off class, pick up bait on the way into morehead, and fish all day
- Heavy wind, call off class, pick up wax on the way into morehead, and surf all day!!
I am going to have to dig up some old pics of my own!!!

Mase see if you can find some of your old pics. I know you got em somewhere cause I am still superstitious on taking a camera fishing.
