They should work out fine. We haven't used them yet, waiting for the giants. That's all we use heavy tackle for. Our bluewater fishing, we use 30's and tld 25's. Thanks again.

Nov 7th during the Tackle Box King Mackerel Tournament.I know a few of us will be fishing off Hatteras.

I do know that I look foward to meeting alot of you guys this season. The last 3 season's I've been back and forth between mhc and holden beach, trying to chase them both places, but this year, I'm camping out in mhc for the season, with trips home occasionally on blow days. Going back and forth, it's been tough to really get to know many folks up there. We'll most likely be at either the mhc yacht basin or town creek. I should know for sure in the next couple of days.

SOMETHING HAPPENED OFFSHORE YESTERDAY WHILE WAHOO FISHING...AND ONLY THE THIRD TIME I HAVE WITNESSED IT IN MY PLANER ROD CAREEER


AROUND 1PM YESTERDAY....35 FATHOMS AND BLOWING 22KNOTS....THE PLANER ROD WENT OFF LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW!!!!.....UNFORTUNATELY WE PULLED THE HOOK BUT I DOUBT IF WE COULD HAVE STOPPED IT SEEING THAT IT WAS LEAVING OUT OF HERE ON 52LBS OF DRAG ON THE TIAGRA 80....I WAS SPEECHLESS.....OTHER THAN EASING THE DRAG BACK AS THE SPOOL RIPPED OFF LINE, THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO BUT WATCH IN AWE........


SPECIES???? I HAVEN'T THE SLIGHTEST IDEA......BUT IT COULD OF BEEN TOKYO MUFFIN HIMSELF

Marty, I look foward to seeing you again as well. I wouldn't be surprised if that was bluefin. I've heard a couple of reports of schools being spotted between Hatteras and OI, so they are starting to come down. Just three more weeks and I'll be there. The anticipation is killing me.
