As a mate 112lbs.... Worked on a party boat that did Bahamas trips back in late seventies, Helen S... We were at Great Guana and the bite was good. I decked one that went 109 and I thought to myself that would likely be the biggest I would ever see. The next one was the 112.
As a captain 101 has been the beast of the bunch at Chub. State side that number drops to 88 at Daytona. In recent years the best I could muster was a 74 pounder at the MA500 a couple years ago... That one stands as my largest in the north also...
