Whats happening in Virgina Beach and OC Maryland

Well Memorial Day is almost upon us. The wind seems to be a consistant 20 with gust to 30 on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Its time to start tracking the migration North. Whats hapening down there in Va Beach? Are you guys seeing the tunas yet? Are the OC Maryland guys shark fishing yet? I usually start prospecting on Memorial Day weekend. I was considering a run way south for the first over nighter of the year down around the Washington to try for a sword or shark at night and some tunas during the day. The boat should be done a couple days before Memorial Day. Thanks in advance.

The bluefish bite out of OCMD hasn't been that great, yet. I did hear of a mako at the Elephant Trunk, caught out of IRI.

No reports out of Virginia Beach yet...the Tuna have really just started hitting good out of OI so I imagine it will be a few weeks to a month before the bite starts going here.....I usually start fishing out of Rudee Inlet after the OI Tuna Tournament which is last weekend of May....We had a boat run out of Wachapreague about a week ago to that Eddy that came down the line but they got no fish...lots of life but no Tuna.....it's coming just not yet...Bob

It seems like things are a little later this year.

A new offshoot of the stream shoved it's way inshore offVB. Someone needs to go check it out.
