    I havent decided yet.

Whats a good spinning reel for deep jigging?

Using my Shimano bait runners right now but have been looking at some Cabo PT's. Cant afford the $800.00 Shimano's but In not going for tuna. Opinions?

I don't dare say what we use as they are the cheap Shimano Spheros... with Trevalas.
Good enough for any of the fish we have on our coast in NC, maybe not a big Big Eye although on a new reel it would probably do the job!

    Fin-Nors

A few guys reported those new FIn-Nors worked pretty well, but lately I haven't seen one mention of them. Has someone found out they aren't dependable or did they just get forgotten about?

Stick with the Cabo's or the Boca's. They are both bullet proof and very reasonable prices. There is not a better warrenty for a fishing reel on the market that I am aware of. I have been using them for the last 2 years for amberjacks, sharks, big red drum and deep jigging and have yet to have a charter or a big fish screw one up yet.
