The price of fuel is completely out of hand and not such much as a whisper out of Washington about a solution. I think its time for the peasants with pitch forks to drag the traders and pols to the nearest tree and well you know. I mean this is total BS. There is enough oil in this country and off our coast to knock the hell out of the pricing, but nooooo the tree huggers and enviros have us all tied up in knots. And another thing, the hydrogen fuel cell thing is solved, but who owns the distributon rights and who has absolutely no incentive to make the change?![]()
Let's just take the boating industry alone. Anybody care to guess how much this is hurting boating sales, boat servicing companies, tackle shops, fuel docks, etc.? I happen to know that fuel sales in marinas have damn near collapsed the last couple of years and now with these prices you can bet its not going to get any better.
Something has to be done and I MEAN NOW![]()

when your in cape may call me and I will bring it over to you.

if we dont refine their oil then they dont sell to us and guess what they dont have to anymore because china and india are buying alot more then we are. so what do they have to loose?..nothing at all, back in the day we were the super power we drove all the big cars and trucks flew all the planes, now we are getting the middle finger because they can.
I love selling boats but I am glad I am not depending solely on the boat business during this crap or I would be panhandling! Between fuel, fish regs, beach and area closures and generally high boating costs, something's gotta give. I paid $4.33 a gal. today for diesel in My truck!
