What size Ballyhoo is best

When targeting the dirty white ones, what size bally's to bring to the fight? Some will be fished with heads, most will be naked.

I LIKE A MEDIUM....A TRUE MEDIUM..NOT A MISPLACED LARGE BAIT IN A PACK OF MEDIUMS........THEY ALSO MAKE A GOOD GUACOMOLE THAT WILL DIG...& SWIM

BE CAUTIOUS USING "HEADS" WHEN TARGETING WHITES....ONE OF THE FEW HEADS I HAVE FOUND TO BE PRODCUTIVE WITH A BALLY OR A STRIP BAIT IS THE BAITEHEAD BY STALKER....THE DIAMETER IS VERY SMALL AND YET IT CREATES THE PERFECT "WOBBLE"

Mediums seem to be 8-8.5 or 8.5-9inch , is there a difference? Is it worth having an assortment of dinks, small, mediums with a few large or horse, or keep it uniform?

Horse eye here. The way they dig is awsome . Oh wait maybe thats why I have never hooked a white boy.

OK , the other day I got 2 packs of baitmasters mediums and 1 pack smalls, or was it the other way around. I'm not sure because when I thawed them out in a bucket I think I found 7 or 8 small baits and 17 mediums. Actually they were all pretty close. They were great baits though. No washouts and I didn't brine them.

Bionics mediums tend to be larger.
