    At it's base, a sink net is a sinking gill net. Deployed the same way as a gill net, wrapping up the school, to target whatever depth it is weighted and buoyed for.

    Did that make sense?

    Or at least that's been my limited understanding. There are plenty of more knowledgeable folks here ----
