I um.... Well.....I .....Um - Well hell it doesn't matter what I say I do. I'm sure you'll make something up. But Aside from being a purveyor of fine squid products, I am also a Data and Telecom engineer and consultant. Truly boring shit. I find myself playing with squids most of the day while my assistant yells at me to get my ass in gear. Most of my work revolves around designing WAN network transport methods for businesses. Global First Telecommunications has its world headquarters in the Technological Mecca of the Eastern Shore Maryland town of Tyaskin.

I am like the jack of all trades here at work.

I do phones, Microwave radios, VHF/ UHF radios, Multiplexors, ATM Switches, Computers, Routers and Switches, All our Servers and much more.
I also climb towers for our company and install antenna systems and cables.

I have been doing this stuff for 15 years now.

I won't bore you with the details though.

My job is to operate and maintain a training range for the pilots to fly on. We have radar sites that simulate hostile missle threats and try to lock onto the aircraft. All that info is recorded with audio and video and sent back to Cherry point and stored. The aircraft carry a pod on them that tells us where they are, which way they are turning, how fast them are going, whether they got hit or not and so on and so on.
Basiclly its a big war game that they fly on to get the fleet ready for war.

The pilots come to Cherry Point and get to watch their performance as it was recorded on a big screen and they get to see how they did and how they can improve.
