I'm a Machinist's Mate Chief in the US Navy, specializing in the nuclear field. I am currently assigned to the USS George Washington. I supervise maintenance on all the mechanical systems that support the reactor and provide propulsion such as pumps, valves, piping, turbines, governors, distilling units and reduction gears.



I will be transferring in July this summer to USS Enterprise to finish out my last couple of years.



The Big E is where I started my career, so it is a fitting place to finish it out. Not sure exactly what I will do when I actually have to go out and get a real job.
