Have a Master's in Architecture, but decided on the Environmental Consulting Field.

We deal with mainly building related environmental contaminants such as lead based paint, asbestos mercury, mold, H20 sampling. We also dabble in some environmental site work (i.e. underground storage tanks and Phase I & II ESAs.

We find the problems. Tell you how to re-mediate the problem, write the contract documents and designs for the work, and than monitor the remediation work (to make sure the contractor did it correctly!) Were kinda like Environmental Architects.

Much more profitable than the Architecture field!

IN my spare time I try to make some extra cash on the water. Either running boats or working in the pit!
