AS YOU REMEMBER MY SONY HIT THE DECK BACK ON MY SOLO TRIP AND I SWEAR SHE IS STILL AILING....I THOUGHT I HAD THE LENS SHUTTER FIXED BUT THIS MORNING WHEN THE SHIT WENT DOWN SHE WOULD NOT OPEN.....CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? MY DANG CAMERA WOULD NOT OPEN THE LENS DOOR AND WE GOT A DOUBLE HEADER TUNA BITE!!! ONE BITE UP AND ONE ON THE SHALLOW BLADE OLD SALTY
THIS WAS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MORE GRUELING BATTLES I HAVE BEEN APART OF IN MANY YEARS SIMPLY BECAUSE WE HAD TO SWITCH RODS TO OPPOSITE SIDES AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES.....ONE FISH HAD A DART W/POON HANDLE IN HIM WHILE THIS WAS GOING ON AND HE WAS STRETCHED OUT WITH ROPE AND POLYBALL! GEEZUS H I AM SORE RIGHT NOW....
SO....ONCE THE TUNAS WERE DECKED...74" & 85".... I WAS EITHER GOING TO THROW THE DANG CAMERA OVERBOARD OR IT WAS GOING TO WORK!.....WELL I GUESS I CUSS SCARED THE SONY SHITLESS AND THE THING FINALLY OPENED UP FOR ME LONG ENOUGH TO CAPTURE THE ON DECK CELEBRATION BY HAPPY PUMPED UP CREW
AND OH YES...HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS!!!!!! I HOPE I GET A NEW CAMERA!
