    Very Fancy....

Dang Frank--I think I would feel awkard on a fancy rig like that. Where does the net reel go on at?? No pot rack?? I bet you can start and stop the motors without opening the engine hatches---no ether, no choking her off to stop---fancy rig you got there...
Just giving you a hard time---Congrats on your new boat!

    GCredle,

Buddy ol' boy, you'll have no more excuses for not goin' now. You won't have to get cold, hot (yes there is A/C), or wet. Giving you fair warning if you won't go, I bet I can get your "better half" to make you baby sit while she goes fishing with ME !!!!! By the way you and I still gotta talk, to follow up on our previous conversation. You've got my # and I still live in the same old shack, down the road. See Ya, Frank

    Dang It's Hot !,

Got another coat of epoxy sealer on the bottom today (that makes 2 coats), one more coat and then the bottom paint. Broke the outriggers down and re-cabled them. Slowly but surely she's coming together. Should have the new shafts (double tapered) and props next week. Everything done is for the long term, not cutting corners. Certainly hope "she" appreciates it, oh wait it's a boat what am I thinkin? Frank

    Slow But Sure,

Got the 3rd coat of epoxy sealer and a coat of bottom paint on the port side today. Hopefully the stbd side will get the same Monday. Cleaned up the outrigger poles to knock some of the haze off. Got them rigged and put on the boat, as well as the center rigger today. Plan on putting in the new thru hull fittings tommorrow, after church of course. Still gotta lot to do, but she'll be in one solid piece when I'm done. Well I might be in one solid piece when "she's" done, we'll see who wins the fight in time. Looked at a couple a new 130's and custom rod's a buddy of mine needs to sell. I'd hate to think I had to tote those things all day, they have never seen water. I am expecting that 80's will do except for the occasional giant. Frank

    One More Step,

Picked up the new shafts (double tapered), couplings, props from the machine shop today. Hopefully the shaft stuffing boxes, shafts, cutlass bearing and props will be installed this weekend. Gonna install and bed the main engine thru hulls and scops if time allows. Things should start taking shape soon. I'm spread pretty thin right now between working (still gotta pay the bills) and this boat project. Looking forward to that first night out there, really bad. Frank
