I will be the first to admit that walking is not on my list of fun things to do; unless of course it's walking to the boat to go fishing. When my lovely bride asked if I would commit to going on a "Long walk" on a Saturday morning, several responses came to mind. The first couple were fishing related excuses as to why I could not go. Boy am I glad better judgement, in the form of a guilt trip, got the best of me. My wife, before I could respond, proceeded to remind me of her good friend Allison's little boy Trent.
Trent had a birth defect called Craniosyntosis which means the bones in his skull were pre-maturely fused and needed to be seperated. Here is a write up done by Trent's mother Allison...

Little did I know I would end up making a small sacrifice that landed me a lucky T-shirt. The following pictures are just a few of the nice fish caught while wearing it.
What's the point you say? Well, November 1 is the next walk. I have happily agreed to participate this time. In order to gather up my portion of the projected goal, I decided to put a post up here and see if you guys would be willing to support this great cause.
HERE is the link where you can make a donation to help me meet and hopefully far exceed my portion of the goal.
If you are kind enough to make a donation, please post your shirt size and donation amount here. I have three shirts left from last year...1 XL, 1 XXL, 1 XXXL. The highest donation for each shirt size will get the lucky shirt shipped to them.
Thanks in advance for your support.
