we didn't catch crap

We fished seven hours on the pamunkey river for catfish Saturday, the day after the cold front moved in, and we didn't catch a single fish. We had blue gill, small bass, and eels for bait. Had a few gar bite but couldn't hook them. My wife got bored and asked if I could take a picture of her in the net, well there it is. We had a great time eating PBJs and eating crab chips, watching the geese and ducks fly around, and most of all fishing. It wasn't hot, it wasn't cold, it didn't rain. We fished six or seven different spots, deep holes, flats, drop offs, no dice, the fish just weren't biting. Had three of my buddies fishing too and the each caught one, a 4, 8, and 11. Terrible day for this river.

She aint bad at all, she is starting to like fishing as much as I do. ONe day she will be showing me how to tie knots
