Well started in the mid 200's after hearing spotty reports from yesterday. We were joined there first thing this morning by the Pole Position and Seaker. The boys on the Pole Position had an hour head start on us and were catching when we got there. Started out with a nice 30+ tuna that was followed all the way to the boat by a 200+ mako no luck getting him to eat. After another 30 or so minutes catch a decent hoo then BAM 4 rods go screaming down mind you that there was only 4 of us on the boat. First fish comes boat side and good grief it's a 70+ wahoo and of course it's on 80 mono. Long story short he bites off with a last ditch head shake just out of gaff range. Now to the other 3 which are stretched out long first one comes up then the other 2 they are 70-80 lb yft's we get 2 and the 3rd one gets cut off on another line right behind the boat. We continued to pick another tuna a mahi and several more nice wahoos i think we ended up the day with around 400+ lbs of fish. Was a good day good conditions an great company congrats to the Pole Position and Seaker on great catches also pretty work Gene and Drew. Most all the action was 200-300 ft 75.5 deg water about 1 kt of current lots of flyers but not many bait marks. Also turned 4 king macks loose.
