He just got new motors too I believe Thats why you get Yamahas

Not new motors, just a new power head.
realy does not matter what motor you have...all of them have lemons, Mercs, Yamas. Sezuks, Hondas...all of them. Friend has Yamaha 4 stroke, less than 700 hrs and new power head. My first Opti Max over 2000 hrs and only thing I had to do besides waterpumps was a TPI...this one I got now, 4th power head but the one I got now is great. I think it all has to do with the coumpter on the engion...you know...nothing can go wrong, go wrong, go wrong.
I do know that he is getting new Yamahas, not sure weather he is getting 4 strokes or not as I think "Jupiter" asid that he would need a biger bracket for the 4 strokes to counter the extra weight.

Its good to know he got in safe. When I fished with him I was amazed at how much of the motors were submerged when we weren't on plane. It would be scary to see that thing with 4 strokes on the same bracket.
