WB STREAM REPORT 3/31

[TROPHY SPORTFISHING]

SORRY NO PICS WE FISHED BELOW THE 200 IN THE A.M. THEN ABOVE THERE IN THE AFTERNOON. FISHING WAS SPOTTY NOT MUCH BAIT SO FISHED MAINLY BOTTOM STRUCTURE AND GRASS. CAUGHT A WAHOO AND 2 TUNAS BEFORE THE FLEET MOVED IN THEN LOST A HOO. IN THE AFTERNOON WENT 3 FOR 3 ON HOO'S 2 FOR 2 ON MAHIS THEN 1 FOR 2 ON HOO'S. LOST 2 MORE NICE HOO'S DUE TO ANGLER ERROR AND 2 THAT PULLED OFF ON THE FIRST RUN. THE HELL WITH BRAID I'M GOING BACK TO MONO. SQUEKED OUT A DAY WITH 5 WAHOO'S 2 TUNAS AND 2 MAHIS. HAD CAPT. MIKE KING RUNNING THE PIT ALONG WITH JOSH ONE OF MY REGULAR CREW AND 2 BUDDIES OF HIS. SURE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A DECENT ANGLER.

30 WAS THE BIGGEST THE OTHER 4 WERE 15-25. FISHING SEEMS SLOW FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. USUALLY NOT SO MANY HOO'S MORE TUNAS. ONE 20LB MAHI ANOTHER IN THE TEENS AND 2 20 LB TUNAS.
