Who coined this phrase? hoping not to offend anyone, i don't like it. doesn't quite fit in with parrot heads or dead heads. I would like to throw some other suggestions out for the following of the great wahoonbox,

We are all fishermen but as a reader of this thread everyday and that I have been classified as a wahoopie I think a more masculin name would be appreciatted. If it ends up that wahoopie/py stands I will accept it. I think Boxsters or box heads would look better on a T shirt for Marty as the Box phenomenon goes international , Maybe Mark Ray could work on a shirt for this.

The original name was actually thought up by my wife a couple of years ago when she got on the site to tell a story. She had never read the site and had met Marty so she went to his forum and started reading. Later on that night at dinner she told me that she was on the site and got to reading. She said everyone sounds like a bunch of Wahoonbox Groupies and then she started laughing and said you ought to call them Wahoopies. It was meant as an afectionate term when it was coined. Later on she came up with a much better one but we'll leave that one alone.
