Hey Stew,
I'm not sure where in Barnegat light you guys are but by any chance would you happen to know whether or not the Super Chick is still out there? I'm sure Capt. Les Osbourne has probably passed by now but maybe not those old salty sea capts last forever. I was introduced to the canyons back in the mid 80's with Les and he had to be in his late 60's. I know his son Teddy was going to take over the operation when the time came but I was just curious as to whether or not the boat is still there and Les, It was between the Jersey Devil and the Frances Anne, longliner which I also worked on. I haven't been back in about 15 years and would love to know if the Super Chick is still there. Let me know, if you know. Thanks,

Hey Dorian,

Both those guys are still around! I think Les is still running some trips on the Little Chic! We spent the season in the slip next to the Super Chick.

They did a heck of a lot of fishing this year. Lots of morning-afternoon fluke/sea bass trips.
