I saw the wahoo challenge facebook page and Jarret Bay's FB page and both said it was postponed until 10/27-10/30.

Anybody need a mate for the tournament?? I have a thread under crew board to get in touch with me.

Yes... They made the call yesterday. NOAA was forecasting 9-14' seas and 25-30 knot winds Friday/Saturday...

Sadly it is officially postponed. High seas would be no fun for anybody but the anticipation and preparation was high. Hopefully the weather date is light and slight so we can get out there in my skiff.

Is it going to be that bad? I saw 4 to 7 for Saturday, but I may not be looking at the right site. I've got some friends that are supposed to go out of Wrightsville Sat. and they said their Capt. gave them a green light. Where is the best place to get offshore forcast? Thanks.

Thanks, I was just wondering how bad it was going to be Sat. My friend said the Capt. told them the tournament was most likely cancelled because a lot of small boats wouldn't be able to fish in it.
