    Wahoo Kings and Dolphin 6/11

Headed out to the stream monday, lines in by 8:30 at the swansboro hole after a late start leaving the dock. Water was pretty dirty even out to 500 feet and not a boat in sight. Got our first bite at 10 which had to be a baracuda. Shortly after we had two mahi on got them to the boat. One of the guys fishing with me decided that he didn't want the 15# dolphin and decided to throw him back instead of puttin him in the box , anyways he won't be doing that anymore. Lines back in and a 20# king comes to the gaff. Marked a good break and we pick up a mahi or 2 every pass for an hour then the wahoo show up, 4 on at once, one bite through the leader and two 20#'s come to the gaff. One still on and screaming line still. Few more minutes of fighting and a 40# comes to the boat. Line back out and 2 go off, one bite off and another king about 15#'s is in the box. After that we called it a day and headed back in. Came home with 3 wahoo, 6 dolphin and 2 kings. Forgot the camera but we'll be back at it this weekend.

Great report! Sounds like it was a lot of fun and the seas were perfect over the weekend too. Can't figure out why someone would throw back a perfectly good dolphin though. Good thing you set him straight. Catch em up again.
