Wahoo Challenge/Bahamas - 1st place Winner

We did it!!!! Ocean Alley along w/ Capt. Billy Thomas and yours truely....What a team!!! 1st place in the Wahoo Challenge leg 2...We have a commanding lead going into leg 3 for the overall series...Hot lure of the tournament was a custom WahooKing w/ yellow/blue hair...Fishing overall was slow w/ very rough seas...high speed trolling at its finest

That's me in the front w/ yellow jacket...Don't hate because I'm handsome.

Thanks Deep....It was very rough out there...Winds out of the N at 30kts...seas 8-10 in some areas...The 36' YF took it like a champ

Time and again you fellas smoke em. I imagine high speed trolling in those seas was special. You fellas look wore out and wet. Pretty Work. I almost expect you guys to be on top of the next leg too.

The one in the back was 57lbs...When the fish hit the deck, I thought the fish was pushing 60....But was wrong...Also, notice not one fish was gaffed...we slide them through the doors...no blood loss...we won by .25 of a lb....its the small things that win championships!!!

Winter time Wahoo fishing in the Bahamas brings out the hardcore...7 hrs of HS trolling at 16-18 kts in 10' seas...not fun but very productive...We covered over 300 miles of ledge in the two day event...Also, we pre-fished the day before and covered over 200 miles.

Time to get me a Philippino massage....
