    Virginia Beach Offshore Saturday

We headed out of Lynnhaven at around 4:30am to a flat sea and clear night sky. We arrived at Waynes world a little after 7:00 am and put lines in. The water was still on the cool side and must have moved further out towards the canyon. The water and weather was beautiful. Our First fish nailed the planer, tripping it but not hooking up. Few seconds later the wayback (a green Get Reel TCB) gets nailed and our first wahoo comes in the boat. He weighed in at 21lbs. Later on in the same area the planer rod gets hit and we bring in our second wahoo which weighed 36lbs. We caught a few smaller dolphin through out the day off of a sulphur/weak weed line that extended all the way to the canyon. We were trolling the northern wall of the canyon and two solid hits and fast runs but never got them in the boat. A great run back in until around the light tower and then it got a little choppy. A Great Day on the water. I want to thank Wahoonbox for his info. on the planer rod setup and Finrazor rods for building me a great planer rod.
