Vid of the Mako Killin in MHC

Here is the Vid of our sharking experiance the other day during a pre-fish day for the Wahoo challange. Sea Draggin, Gofshn, Sea Draggin's cousin and I went out. The fishing was slow only giving up a few big blue fish then just when the boys were getting bored whamoo!

You are so correct Captain. Bear in mind that we weren't shark fishing. I do have a much healthier respect for those that do that in pursuit of happieness.
It is indeed a whole different game.
But I did just check and sure enough, he is still in my freezer.

Awesome vid guys, great action.

Few things:

1) NEVER...and I do mean NEVER...lol...bring a questionably live mako on board. Good thing she was only 135... When she did her little thing on the deck all i could think to myself was someone's going back home having a bad day.

2) Don't bring them head first out of the water. They sometimes like to do this cool trick called: "jump out of the water next to the boat with jaws snapping at your face". I haven't thought of a better name for it yet.

3) Start carrying a gun onboard. I ALWAYS carry my Mossberg 590 Mariner 12 ga. pump with me on the boat..everything from flounder fishing out front to tuna fishing out in the deep. You never know when mr. mako or mr. thresher is gonna come knocking and you might wanna bring them home for dinner.
