ok yesterday im out on my property doing a little bit of scouting but just in case i brought my bow along i get out there wait for about 2 hrs a couple does walk in and then i see this massive "Fing" 14 point coming in very slowly behind them. i grabed my bow to get ready,(this would be the biggest deer of my life) it got close enough to shoot but b4 i did anything i grabed my phone and got this pic of him. i pull my bow back, he is prefectly brodside and then...... my bowstring snaps....... and he takes off like hes running a marathon! im so dissapointed right now its not even funny......
I feel your pain. I have what's left of the ferrule of a crimson talon broadhead in my bow case. I shot at a buck in Vt. In 03 I was convinced to try this head over my Muzzy's I thought I had drilled him but the head disintergrated on the shoulder. The head had 3 main blades and 3 bleeder blades. With all the material removed from the center of the ferrule it collapsed upon impact. We ended up finding that deer 4 weeks later in rifle season, after the coyotes had there fill
