GO WEIGH A BIG UN RAZOR! AND SCOTT...AND ANYONE ELSE WHO PURSUES THE GREEN DADDY....![]()
I'm chartered for the open, but looking at reefcast, if things don't change, I'll be sitting on the dock. I clicked on the 15 mile rock area, and it's showing winds around 25, and seas around 12.

The pogies have been easy to find, and when we've had a n wind, the corn cob mullet have been thick as well. There have been a few smaller kings around the reef, and rumor has it there was a mid 30's come from the 90's.

turning cooler this week...if the wind holds out should be firing off the river channel starting this weekend
I heard the committee is meeting tomorrow to look at the forecast about a possible delay. NE winds would still be fishable in close and the cooler temps should bring the fish in. They keep saying that low in the gulf is coming up the coast.
One thing that's going to hurt it this year is all the fresh water. I believe it'll keep the fish offshore, instead of in the river like normal.
