    hey Capt. John,
Weather here has been good. Two almost cloudless days in a row, temp in the low 80's during the day. Water surface temp around 79. Been windy, but that's normal for this time of year.

I am sure we will be running across each other in the not too distant future. A trip to Ambergris on our little boat is a priority, AFTER we get this house move out of the way.

Let us know when you are settled in, or when you have some time on Provo. I imagine you will be in Provo a lot.

I'll definately be in touch Gringo. PM me your name and info and we'll get together. I'll be getting into Provo around 2:30p.m today. I've already got a full schedule of clients to take fishing this week. All reef fishing except I'm gonna try and go deep for hoos on Tues.

Well fellas, not a whole lot to report today as far as fishing goes. I was booked for 2 inshore reef trips, but with the strong winds only one trip decided to go out. I had a mom and her two young kids and decided to hit a small coral head just out of the marina(literally 50 yards out of the marina). We caught countless bluestripe grunts, a few small strawberry grouper, and lost a monster Mutton snapper of around 12-15lbs. It swam right beside the boat in our chum and it ate a squid tipped jighead. The fight was on for a good 10 minutes before he found the coralhead. However, everyone had a good time. I also took Dannny Elfman(minority White Sox owner) shark fishing tonight for a couple of hours with his kids off of the end of our airport runway. We went 1 for 2 on lemon sharks and saw numerous huge spotted rays swimming in the moonlight. This is an awesome place and I can't wait to get offshore when the wind dies down and get some of the big hoos. By the way, the flats guides did well on the big bonefish this afternoon on the incoming tide. Here's just a couple of pics from the morning trip.
