My wife says conchin' is just like treasure hunting. Man do they look good. A little sour, some goat pepper, onion and I could dig right in. Thanks Capt. John!

It's kinda like that only easier.

Conch is a nice alternative when the fishing (or fishermen) hasn't been good. We used to go conch diving a lot. But not so much anymore.

Yeah, our fishing results have definitely improved. I still love conch, though. Hey Capt. John, have you gotten that move down yet where you skin the conch with one smooth move rolling your wrist? I still use my teeth on that part.

Now, if Capt. Roddy Hayes' Legend Lures will just show up...we plan to get even more serious about the wahoo. Last we heard, they went through Atlanta about two months ago. I suspect they are in Frankfurt or Iceland right now, waiting for a postmaster who reads english to realize they were not addressed to "Turkey" and that "Islands" is not Iceland. No shit, that has happened to other mail. We received a christmas card from the US last week. Sent in mid December. Got here in March.
