I had a great trip today, Joe Poye, John Ridenour, Dave "Why is the boat turning" King, and Andrew "It is what it is" Sokol aka Skolman joined me for a mid -range troll. The original plan was to head east for the bluefin bite, but I wasn't in love with the forecast and the sea conditions when we broke the inlet, so we headed south. The troll started a little slow, but then the bite broke wide open and when we knocked off at noon time we had boated 7 Spanish Mackeral and 29 Bonita. Our ride back at 20 knots was smooth with the wind behind us and we managed to hit the inlet at the same time as the weather front that had been forecasted--Timing is everything!

Coming through the inlet we got blasted by a front with torrential rain, the deck dosen't always look that good!
