I ran an open trip today with Ozzie Gomez and his son Francisco, Tom Murphy and Chris Petix. We found the inshore fishing to be slow, the stripers would not come out and play down by the Rocks. We did find the endangered and way over protected sea bass, and hungry porgies and bluefish. Along the way we picked up a little hitch hiker who stayed in the helm area for a good portion of the trip. Beautiful weather, flat seas, we stole a great 80 degree day in October.
