Tuna Chasin MHC March 17th

Who’s fishin the 17th out of MHC ? Keep your fingers crossed for the weather...

What’s your spread going to look like, how many rods & what’s lures w/ or w/o meat???

Who’s catchin the first Tuna? Don’t be shy, this board has got big shoulders…

I’m fishin, 4-5 Penn 50’s with one deep planer med Bally w/ pink or maybe purple skirt. I’ll start with a couple med feather jet heads mixed w/ meat. Fender teaser w/ greens 4-6” squid spreader w/ 4” green squid trap or maybe the green alien.

Leave the pier around 5:00am, Lines in about 10 miles or so east/north east of big rock, unless you all tell me I’m smoking crack and need to be else where???

I think you are probably a little bit early to decide where you are going to start out at. You have almost 2 weeks before you will be there. That is about all I can say on this subject never fished out of morehead. Well haven't fished out of there yet.

Damn'it I wanna fish that wknd. and I'm having a party the 17th. is anybody fishing Fri. 16th.?(weather permitting) I will be down thurs eve. and will ho on any boat that will have me,anybody going Fri.? I gotta get my boat outta da' shop Sat. and then get to cooking some shrimp boils for all my SFC brothers/sisters.

The Short Bus will be out there every weekend after this one 3/10/07 "Seas Permitting" of course. Even plan on fishing some during the week for the next 2 months. Keeping fingers crossed out of a few of those days the seas will be below 5 feet. Boat is detailed, tuned up, caulked, new vhf. All rods/reels are rigged up and bait is on the way from Fla.
