Had the pleasure of fishing w/ a good friend of mine last weekend. I was the one to actually ask his wife if he could come out and play! They had their second child 3 weeks ago and for all us father's we know that can be a tricky situation. Nonetheless we went to the camp and got there about 3 o'clock. We knew it was just a matter of getting in the water and hitting the spot. We had picked up 50 live shrimp on the way down and in just a few hours we had managed 37 trout. He is the pic from that evening.
Morning came and we headed in the same direction to find dirty water, soaked a couple shrimp and nothing. We made the move towards the Delacroix area and we stopped at a couple of rigs and could only manage a few trout at each spot, but they were nice! We kept running as the water was getting alot cleaner. Our last stop we hit Pelican Island and for a couple of hours laid it to them.
