We set out at around 7.30am from Shell Beach, Antigua, myself, Sea Stalker and Toby. It's our first trip out together, and me being a novice, my furthest venture offshore. While i have been on a couple of charters, this was my longest journey in my own boat. Sea Stalker showed us the way and we headed off NW. After arriving at the fishing grounds we had a couple of Barracuda and a Kingfish...it then went quiet until we spotted a group of Frigate birds going psycho....there was a sense of excitement from the lads and we headed over to tyhe area which looked like boiling water....Sea Stalker gave the instructions and we moved around the outside of the birds...the next thing...you've guessed it...that lovely sound of line flying off the reel and the shout from Sea Stalker of "Get your ass up ere' its your turn"...i gave the boat over to Toby, and strapped in as the "Big Brute" gave another run and line zipped off....."it might be a Shark" was the first statement and then "it could be big HOO" was the second...i dont know how long we played this monster but it seemed like days but eventually after great guidance from Sea Stalker we had the brute in the boat.......it was a great team effort and i was the lucky one on this occasion to play such a great fish.....hope the picture comes out....i couldn't move my arms for the last four days....from left to right - Sea Stalker -Mitch-Toby. Notice the chunk out of the rear......it was none of us...
